Unmarked Early Nickel 1 3/4" Casting Reel single Action Hickory Handle Grip Circa-1880. Very Rare to find a example in Nickel Silver (Normally Brass) and never seen this nice. Its very smooth spinning, fast, straight, with no wobble. Its been fished and around for 145 years but still the finest example I have seen. The foot is full length and notice its ribbed under the foot to help it to stick tight on a Bamboo rod. The handle is in good condition with a incredible wood Hickory grip and looks amazing.
