South Bend Extremely Rare No. 600 Model A ABL Aluminum Tournament Reel Circa-1939. I believe this is South Bends first true Tournament reel at a light 5 oz weight and extremely narrow. Basically this is a Model 60 Oreno with the rare ABL and bail attachment. This 600 like the 60 models came in aluminum, extremely rare, has been fished but is still in very good condition and spins amazing. Its extremely fast with the tournament style light weight aluminum handle and smooth as you will ever fish. The rear plate mounted clicker is strong and loud. Aluminum spool is in good condition along with the very clean foot. Great early South Bend Classic never seen especially this nice.
