South Bend (Shakespeare Made) #1180 Skeleton Fly Rod Reel with Original Box Circa-1924. Winchester made the first series of the #1180 Skeleton Fly Reel for South Bend and after a few years Shakespeare took over the production. This brass fly reel looks very much like the Shakespeare Kazoo. This example is extremely clean (wiped down but not cleaned) showing true age and patina. Spins fast, smooth, and straight with no wobble and the clicker functions perfectly. The box shows only limited wear and has a great clear label. Great Combo!
