Shakespeare Made *Rare Model 50 No. 60-6777 Engraved Trade Reel for Montgomery Wards Aluminum Level Wind with Original Box Circa-1938. This is a new never fished version of a rare reel I have never seen before. I talked to 3-4 Wards reel collectors as well and no one has ever seen this No. 50 and any Wards reels done in all Aluminum. Perhaps this is a Prototype made during the Bronson and Shakespeare contract years of 1938-39 before the reel manufacturer was decided. Reel is very much like the earlier South Bend No. 60 and 600 both made by Shakespeare. Reel functions perfectly with no flaws. The box also rare and never seen before is also very nice showing just limited storage wear. Incredible combo
