The level wind glides effortlessly side to side. This is a tough reel to find especially in this condition. The clicker is strong. The jewels are typical Shakespeare for 1930 and knurled. Both handle and foot are catalog correct. The box shows some shelf wear but works great and label is crystal clear. This is another quality reel manufactured by Shakespeare that most people believe Heddon Made. At the time in 1930 this reel was considered Heddons finest trade reel.
