Shakespeare Made Extremely Rare South Bend No. 1110 Single Action Trout Reel with Original Box Circa- only 1948. This is South Bends No. 1110 example of the Shakespeare made "AUSABLE" No. 1864 Single Action fly reel made and sold one year only in 1948. This is a very fine example of a tough reel rarely seen this nice with really no flaws and appears unfished brand new. Both sides front and back are in perfect condition and I doubt ever fished. Spins beautifully, fast, smooth and straight with a strong working clicker in both directions. The color of this reel is typical Maroon with all 1100 series reels and beautiful. The Box is also in very good condition showing limited wear with a nice clear label.
Note: Any white on rims is glare, reel is extremely fine.
