S. ALLCOCK of REDDITCH ENGLAND Brass Fly Reel 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" Circa-1894. This is a fine Fly Reel made of very fine brass. This extremely clean reel spins very smooth and fast with no wobble. Spectacular three pillar counterweighted center pin design with a adjustable clicker that functions perfectly. The clean counter balanced handle is brilliant with a free spinning ebonite grip. This fine Reel is clearly stamped on the Face S. Allcock of Redditch England. S. Allcock ( Polycarp) started making fine reels in 1873 and continued up until 1960. Just a really great reel.
