Pflueger SUMMIT Trademark Only Circa-1931-32 5th Version in Polished Diamolite . This is a great reel that spins fast and smooth.. The clicker and brake both work strong and as intended. This is the first Summit model to feature Diamolite finish and the extra Pawl holder on the face plate. The beautiful Marbled handle grips show up on this version for the first time and spin freely and the counter balanced handle is straight, engraved, and clean. The reels wave pattern is clean and engraving is free of scratches. This is a last version of the Summit with only Trade Mark on the levelwind plate and no model number. The 7 patent numbers are listed on the inside rim of the Head plate above the spool and are clear for reading for the last time as well. The reels foot length is correct and not manicured it is very clean. Great collectors reel.
