Pflueger HAWKEYE 60 yard Fly Reel Circa-1923 This is a high quality german silver and hard rubber Fly Reel with original extremely RARE Chimney box. This is a great almost MINT example of one of Pfluegers finest early fly reels. Its smooth, Fast and the clicker functions perfect and strong. The spool has no play . The handle is clean and catalog correct. The foot is full length and shows 60 yards clearly underneath. The box is in great shape showing limited storage wear with a very clean early label. This fine reel and Box is exceptional example and impossible combination. NOTE: I only know of 4 of these reel and box Combinations That exist!! Any white in the photos is glare. The hard rubber is in very nice condition with no cracks, breaks , or chips and the German silver is flawless.
