These incredible reels were the product of Cuban Immigrant Frank Perez born in Havana in 1875 and trained in reel design and manufacturing by E. Holzman up until 1925. This is a nice example of a limited number of Reels made Starting in 1925. The Monel Steel Metal Components were a harder more durable and expensive product never seen on fishing reels. The hard rubber again is the finest quality I have ever seen. This is a extremely rare and great example of a fantastic early reel. This reel spins fast, spins smooth and works amazing with a strong working Freespool. Every component is in good working order and in great condition. Incredible early reel from a very small maker.
