Ocean City INTER-STATE No. #998 2nd Version Level Wind Jeweled with Original Box Circa- 1941. This reel is in brand new never fished condition and I dont believe has ever had line on it. This extremely fine reel is the second version most likely 1941 and does not have the earlier blue medallion label. Its extremely smooth and Fast. The Level Wind glides smooth side to side. The Clicker is loud and strong. The Spool is green Zephaloy aluminum and very light weight. The ABL front mounted brake control also functions perfectly. The Handle and foot are both in perfect condition as well. The Pre-War Box is in very good condition with great label showing little storage wear. Great early pre-War combo!!
