Vintage German Silver Montague VL & A TOURNAMENT Casting Reel with Original Marked Leather Case. This is a great example of a german silver Kentucky Style Montague Reel. Its Clean, Fast, and Smooth. The Kentucky style front face mounted clicker is strong and loud with a stong Drag brake as well. The reel has knurled front and rear rim trim, Very early style Knurled Jeweled bearing covers. The handle is straight, clean and the counter balanced grip spins freely. The foot is typical Montague , Clean , Straight and not manicured. This is a 60 yard reel as marked under the foot. The Original Marked Leather case is in great condition, functions perfectly with proper VL & A Trademark.
