Bourne & Bond was a Sporting Goods Retailer & Company in Louisville Kentucky for 66 years starting in the late 1800s and basically sold anything fishing, camping, hunting ect. This very rare Kentucky reel made by Montague was there staple and claim to fame. This is a very clean reel, Its been fished and shows some scratches but still shows great. Its extremely fast and smooth with a strong clicker and brake. Jewels are removable, flawless, and knurled nicely. A very well made reel that has the Kentucky reel look and feel. Great reel with some great history attached to it.
