Meisselbach "AMATEUR" Trolling Reel Side Mount Nickel Silver with Drag Spring Circa-1889-1919. This Is a very fine example of a somewhat tough reel not seen a lot. These nickel plated reels just did’nt hold up over time so its rare to see one this clean with all the plating still in place, Its fast and smooth spinning with a strong working thumb brake. This version or example with the hard wood bulb shapped knobs began production in 1912. Everything is in fantastic shape on this old time trolling reel and it functions exactly as intended.
