Montague "Louisville Casting Reel" Jeweled 80 yard Circa-1908. This is a very clean reel That spins smooth and very fast. It does show some brass through the nickel silver on the front head plate rim and on a pillar but still looks fantastic. Clicker and brake both function perfectly. The handle is in great shape with a free spinning grip. The Jewels are extremely early and look great with the double knurling. The foot is clean but again does show a little brass through the nickel on the foot pillars. I spooled this with a early black line only because I thought it looked great, The spool is very clean with no flaws if you decided to remove the line. Great early Montague.
