Langley "SPEEDY" No. 510 Light Weight Tournament with Original Box & Manual San Diego Calif. Circa -1949
Langley "SPEEDY" No. 510 Light Weight Tournament with Original Box & Manual San Diego Calif. Circa -1949, Langley was a company formed after the End of the War and a light weight Aluminum Aircraft part maker during the WWII era, they brought that logic and design engineering to light weight Aluminum fishing reels until they sold in 1962 to Zero Hour Bomb Company or ZEBCO. This light weight reel with aluminum spool is amazingly light and spins as fast as any reel I have ever turned. The clicker is loud and strong. This reel is in very nice with all bakelite and nickel plating in fine condition. The original box is also in very good condition showing little storage wear. Original manual is also in good condition showing just a fold. Amazing reel, extremely well made and continued to be made by ZEBCO for many years after 1962.
NOTE: Any white on the reels rim is glare, its a beatiful reel.
