Vintage James Heddon & Sons 3-30 ( FJT) Full Jeweled Tournament German Silver Fishing & casting Reel - Circa-1920, Heddon hired Wm. Carter in 1918 away from Meek to develop Heddons first line of fishing reels including this 3-30. This reel is extremely fast spinning and smooth with a great working clicker. The head plate rim trim is knurled nicely along with the clicker button. The fixed Bearing covers are Jeweled in clear sapphire stones that steal the show here and are flawless. Aluminum light weight spool is covered nicely with a wood arbor. The counter balanced handle is clean, straight and the grip spins freely. Foot is clean and straight. Extremely Rare Heddon Marked Leather Case is in great condition with a functioning snap. Rare Classic Heddon.
