Horrocks & Ibbotsons "TAKAPART" No. 1866 Level Wind with Original Rare Box Circa-1928. This is a Horrocks & Ibbotsons made reel rarely seen and never this fine. Its in very nice condition, extremely clean, Spins fast and smooth with a strong loud clicker. Incredible looking green hard rubber insert between the head plate is in perfect condition and matches the free spinning grips nicely. This is done in true easy takapart fashion with no tools needed to take apart and just two thumb screws turned by hand needed to disasemble. The rare box is also in very good condition showing limited shelf wear. Very nice example and combo of a rarely seen reel.
