Haywood Mfg. Co. Humphreys Stationary Spool Stainless Steel Denver Co. Circa -1946. This was the only fully enclosed stainless steel spinning reel designed specifically so that it will not backlash no matter how you cast it. It came in two sizes, the model 3-A for 75 - 80 yards of line which was the smaller model, and the model 4-A which had twice the line capacity of the 3-A. This is a very fine example that both looks and functions perfectly. Super clean, very fast spinning with a working clicker action not unlike a fly reel. Box shows limited shelf wear with a good clean label.
