D & T Spider Specialty Mfg. Co. "D & T SPIDER" Ft. Wayne Ind. Indiana Style Patent Pending Circa -1917. This is a very tough Indiana Style Reel never seen for sale and in good condition. This reel was probally the most copied version of the Indiana Style Reel by local Ft. Wayne machine shops with many variations seen on the market back 100 years ago. This is the real deal and the earliest example with Patent pending shown on the face. The D & T Spider reel is very smooth, spins straight and it reel functions exactly as intended.
