Rare Bronson COMMANDER No. #3600 ABL Level Wind Jeweled Circa-1935. In 1935 the reel was completely re-designed to include the ornately engraved “wave design” on the side plates, hexagon jewelled oil caps and a brake adjustment on the face plate. It would be housed in the “silver” Art Deco box shown. This reel is good condition showing just minor use, spins fast and smooth. The level wind glides easily side to side. The ABL brake functions perfect and the clicker works strong and loud. Jeweled bearing covers are catalog correct and in good condition with typical Bronson Knurling. The engraved handle is also catalog correct and clean with free spinning marbeled double grips. The foot is clean, not manicured. Box shows storage wear with a pretty clean label and puts this reel away perfectly. Just a great extremely rare Bronson reel combo.
