Rarely seen Bronson RETRIEVER No.#2900 150 Yard 2nd Model Jeweled Level Wind Circa-1941. The No.2900 “Retriever” was a 150-yd. size level-winding reel that was introduced in 1938 with this 2nd model starting in 1941. A slightly larger reel, with side plates that are 2 5/8″ in diameter and with jeweled oil caps. It would sell until 1953. This is a very clean reel, Super fast and smooth spinning with a very strong clicker. All parts including handle and grip green color are catalog correct. Terrific early Bronson.
