Vintage B.C. Milam No. # 3 German Silver Fishing & Casting Reel . This Model Carries the Arch writting over the Milam Name “ The Frankfort Kentucky Reel”. This reel was also a presentation reel as seen on the back plate with the professional engraving which reads “ E.R. Dillehay, Danville, Kentucky.” The reel is smooth and fast with a strong Clicker and Brake. The breadbasket is Knurled nicely and sits in the 12 o’clock position with The big, clean half handle on top, and knurled screw locking it in place , WOW. We know this reel was made after 1883 as it is serialized with the number # 8539 buried between the bottom foot pillars. The reels foot is full length and not manicured. Spectacular piece of History in Fine shape.
